A Message from the Founder of My Excellency Schools Complex
I am a devout Christian and Sunday school teacher. I attended and received formal training at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. I love Jesus Christ because he lived his life with purpose while on Earth, and accomplished the work that God assigned him to do. Moses accomplished his work assignment, leading people from Israel out of Egypt to Canaan. Peter went from fisherman to the fisher of men. Paul forgot things that were left behind and kept pressing on to the present and future. God turned what was meant for evil too good for Joseph, and he became the Prime Minister of Egypt which birthed God’s nation. Rahab the prostitute finished her work- by just believing in the God of Israel. She married Salome and later became the great-grandmother of Jesus Christ. Ruth broke the tradition- married Boaz, and became the grandmother of Jesus. The actions of God placed Ester in the palace to avoid genocide later save the Jewish people of Persia, which is now known as Iran.
David fulfilled the Purpose of God in his generation then he lies asleep.
As I reflect on my life I ask myself, “What is the Divine reason for my being? What is my Divine assignment and purpose of God for my life? Am I fulfilling my Divine purpose while existing on the planet Earth?”
Solomon wrote about the time in the Book of Ecclesiastes and said we don’t have forever to fulfill our lifetime mission. There is a dash between the time you are born and when you die. The question is what did you do with the dash? As the scripture says “…God will past to an account. Whatever is, has already been; and what will be, has been before.”(Ecclesiastes 3:15) How will you be remembered? The dash can represent the time you became born again and died as a Christian. What did you do with your time? That is the question Solomon asks, and one day everybody has to respond.
“For when David has served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep. He was buried with his father’s and his body decayed. But the one whom God raised from the dead did not see decay.”(Acts 13:36-37)
What about you and me? Are we fulfilling our lifetime Divine assignment, which is the reason for our being? Are we making a difference in the lives of others? We don’t have forever, so let’s be wise and do something for God before it’s too late. Let’s make an impact in someone’s life- in our generation.
I desire to use my time to grow the kingdom of God.
May God help us,
Kouamivi Bossou
